THINGS TO DO IN AND AROUND THE GRAMPIANS
You can do as much or as little as you like!
If you’re staying at Mt Cassel Villa and simply want to unwind and relax, you’ll find all the amenities you need to do just that. For guidance on planning your activities, feel free to consult with Adam and Pep at the Pomonal Estate Cellar door, who have been part of the Grampians region for over 25 years.
A typical 2 or 3 day itinerary:
- Day 1:
- Begin your visit at Pomonal Estate, where you can indulge in a wine tasting, sample a beer and cider paddle, all while savouring a cheese platter and taking in the breathtaking views.
- Spend your evening relaxing, watching the sunset over the Grampians, or enjoying the warmth of the wood heater.
- Day 2:
- Set out to explore the Grampians National Park or visit Lake Fyans. You can also take a trip to Halls Gap to explore the town. Take a Grampians Wine Tour to explore wineries & breweries of this region.
- In the afternoon, return to the Pomonal Estate cellar door to unwind.
- Day 3:
- For dinner, you can walk to Barneys Bistro, which is conveniently located.
- Before checking out, consider visiting attractions like James McMurtrie Glass Blowing Studio and Gallery, Five Ducks Farm, Kerrie’s Kreations Chocolates, or explore more wineries in the region.
