Nestled at the foothills of the spectacular Grampians, Pomonal Estate is surrounded by a landscape that is as distinctive as the wines we produce.

The Grampians wine region is renowned for its cool climate, warm days and cool nights, creating ideal conditions for producing wines with freshness, elegance and character. The region is particularly celebrated for Shiraz and Riesling, with other varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay also growing well.

Our three-acre vineyard is planted with Shiraz and Riesling, varieties perfectly suited to our cool climate and unique location. Our wines reflect the character of the region while showcasing the care and passion we put into every bottle.

Our Range

Sparkling Riesling
Elegant and refreshing, with delicate bubbles, citrus, lemon curd and wildflower characters.

Riesling
Fresh and vibrant with bright citrus and lemon flavours, a soft dry palate and crisp natural acidity.

Late Harvest Riesling
A beautifully balanced sweeter style, offering citrus characters, a luscious mid-palate and a clean, dry finish.

Rosé
Fresh and fruit-driven, with vibrant cherry and strawberry flavours, subtle spice and a lovely refreshing finish.

Shiraz
A classic cool-climate Shiraz, showing rich plum and dark cherry flavours with gentle spice and smooth tannins.

Single Vineyard Shiraz
Our premium Shiraz, made from grapes grown in our own vineyard and matured for 18 months in barrel. Rich layers of plum, blueberry and raspberry combine with pepper, depth and beautifully integrated tannins.
